Here are some of my works in progress and upcoming projects.

Ns_Nexus, my showpiece level, was hugely ambitious in design. Having created a purely hardcore map, I decided to opt for something a tad more mainstream for the next.
Enter Ns_Stage. I decided on using the traditional Diamond Layout as it avoided so many other complications. Even with the flatter layout, I managed to put multiple vertical tiers throughout the level. Each room is designed to have a unique feel, unique gameplay, and notable landmarks. The map is approximately 75% built, minus the final lighting and detailing passes.
There are three maps planned for the vertical slice / initial mod release of my KnockDown game proposal, the full proposal being found in the Game Designs area. KnockDown can be summed up in two words: Mid-Air Jousting.
In KnockDown, players use physics-based weapons to knock their enemies off the platforms to their demise, or to otherwise affect their movement in some way to achieve the same result. The gameplay all takes place on top of and in between tall platforms hundreds of feet above an environmental danger.
The edges of the platforms are lined with launch pads which throw the player through the air with varying power depending on the distance of the supposed target platform. The game also includes collectible shards, upgradeable weapons and abilities, and frenetic mid-air jousting, details of which can be found in the proposal document.
Kd_Cave. The top-down view of Cave's design is seen to the left, and the alpha test video is found below. The final version of this map will be situated in a massive cave with rock walls on all sides, except for the lava down below. The platforms are on top of pillars which connect to the lava. The launch pads all work and are tweaked nearly to perfection, but the visuals are still only half complete. The 'big box' environment will be replaced by a massive cavernous room over a lava river.
Kd_Voltage will be situated in a man-made structure, with metal walls and ceilings over an electrical field down below. The platforms will be attached to the ceiling, and the launch pads all will have a higher strength but a lower trajectory.
Kd_Nebula will be located in space, over a massive nebula. The platforms will be suspended and symmetrical, but consist of two different height levels.
